On March 31st, a dedicated group of volunteers came together in Sheerness for the Great British Spring Clean, organized by Sheppey Matters. Armed with litter pickers and gloves, they made a positive impact on their local community by collecting trash around the area. The team, pictured above, worked hard to gather 26.34 kg of litter, showcasing their commitment to improving the environment.

It’s heartening to see locals come together for such an important cause, proving that small actions can create a big difference. Kudos to everyone involved in this fantastic effort!
If you’re interested in getting involved, Sheppey Matters continues to organize community clean-up events. Stay tuned for more opportunities to help keep our beaches and streets beautiful!
